1OUR STORY

Albius Dental Center was founded by Dr. Ketevan Gogilashvili with a vision to bring a new standard of dentistry to Georgia – one built on knowledge, innovation, and uncompromising quality. What began with a strong foundation in periodontology, has evolved into a multidisciplinary dental center, bringing together experienced professionals and a new generation of specialists.

Today, Albius combines advanced clinical practice with education and continuous professional development. Equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies, Albius provides comprehensive dental care in an environment designed to international standards. Through its Educational Academy and specialized schools, Albius has become a space where international expertise is shared, new standards are introduced, and the future of dentistry is shaped.

2HISTORY

A University Clinic & EndoSchool

Albius becomes a university clinic of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and establishes Albius International EndoSchool. The center also hosts a high-level delegation from the FDI World Dental Federation.

This principle has shaped Albius from the beginning. In periodontology, the center was among the first in Georgia to adopt classifications approved by the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), bringing its clinical practice in line with contemporary international standards.

For us, high-quality dentistry combines precise diagnostics, advanced treatment methods and technologies, and an individual approach to every patient. Just as importantly, we continuously update the knowledge behind our clinical decisions, ensuring that our practice evolves alongside the latest developments in dental medicine.

Instrument Reprocessing & Sterilization

Every reusable instrument at Albius goes through a structured, multi-stage process in line with infection prevention and control requirements, applicable standards, and medical device manufacturers’ instructions.

    Used instruments are safely transferred to the designated reprocessing area.

    Cleaning

    Instruments undergo automated cleaning in specialized equipment.

    Inspection & Drying

    Each instrument is inspected, dried, and prepared for packaging.

    Packaging

    Instruments are packaged in sterilization containers to maintain cleanliness.

    Sterilization

    Packages are subjected to high-temperature sterilization processes.

    Storage

    Sterilized instruments are stored in a controlled environment to prevent contamination.

    Distribution

    Instruments are distributed to various departments based on usage requirements.

A Note From Our Founder

Albius has always been a special place for me. As the center has grown, so has our understanding of what it can be. Today, it is not only a place for clinical practice, but also for education, professional development, and the exchange of knowledge.

Our approach to dentistry begins with understanding each patient as an individual. Precise diagnostics, evidence-based practice, and collaboration between specialists allow us to look at every case comprehensively and develop a treatment plan together with the patient. I believe people should understand their condition, know their options, and feel involved in decisions about their care.

Education has been part of Albius from the beginning. Clinical practice constantly brings new knowledge and experience, while education keeps us curious, helps us question what we know, and allows us to continuously improve the way we work.

Albius has changed and grown over the years, as new knowledge, technologies, and possibilities have opened new directions for us. But the values behind our work have remained the same: responsibility, professional ethics, teamwork, and genuine care for people.
